Self-consumption is regulated by Decree-Law no. 162/2019, and is the consumption ensured by Self-consumption Production Units (UPAC) carried out by a self-consumer of renewable energy.
Individual self-consumers, collective self-consumers and Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) can carry out self-consumption activities through UPACs.
The self-consumer has the right to produce electricity through one or more ACU(s) associated to one or more Usage Facilities, for its own consumption, store and sell the surplus electricity production. The surplus energy from self-consumption may be traded on an organised or bilateral market, through the market participant or through the market facilitator.
The UPAC aimed primarily at meeting its own electricity supply needs.
Solar panels capture the sun's rays, and cause the electrons in the silicon cells to release energy that is transformed into electricity (Direct Current - DC). Depending on the type of project we select the modules that offer the most advantages in energy output, best performance, reduced shading effect, lower risk of hot spots as well as mechanical load tolerance. The panels we use are of the monocrystalline type.

The Inverter converts DC (Direct Current) energy into AC (Alternating Current), so that it can be injected into a 400/230 V Single Phase or Three Phase network.
Excess solar energy production can be stored in a battery or exported to the grid.

An energy monitoring system reduces rising energy costs and facilitates automatic consumption.
Excess solar energy production can be stored in a battery or exported to the grid.
The installation of a solar panel system involves several crucial aspects to ensure safety, efficiency and durability.
Each element contributes to the smooth running of the system and the prevention of problems that can compromise performance and generate additional costs.

Installing a UPAC saves you money on your electricity bill and is a highly cost-effective investment.
At the same time, it reduces its dependence on fossil fuels and protects it against energy inflation.
Our solution includes the concession, design, installation, commissioning and registration with the DGEG.
If you want to install your UPAC without initial investment, we have financing and leasing solutions that allow you to pay for your installation with the funds released by the monthly savings on your electricity bill.
